Step 1: take the sample

- To protect yourself, ideally use gloves and an FFP3 protective mask.
- Use a spatula, knife or appropriate tool to collect the mycelium or sporophore or filaments.
- The sample should cover a minimum surface area the size of a sugar cube and ideally the size of a business card.

Conditioning
- To avoid confusion, please separate each distinct sample according to their appearance (color, shape, texture)
or which were taken from different areas.
- If the sample is moderately moist or gelatinous in consistency, coat it with paper towels first.
- Carefully wrap the sample in aluminum foil or insert it into a freezer bag.

Multiple Analysis
- If various species are collected simultaneously, this could lead to additional analyzes by the laboratory to precisely determine each species.
- Any additional costs related to these analyzes will be the responsibility of the customer.
- The laboratory will systematically request your consent before starting any additional analysis.
